When it comes to finding antique shops in Perth, the historic Guilford strip is the first place that comes to mind for many people. However, there are numerous vintage and antique stores located in the north, south, east and western suburbs of Perth that offer a diverse range of options. Each store has its own distinctive character, shaped by the owners’ individual tastes, passions, and curiosities. Whether you’re searching for something particular or just looking to browse, the store owners are a great source of information and are always happy to chat all things antique.
This list will help you discover the perfect destination for vintage maps, one-of-a-kind antique jewellery gifts, intriguing historic brass microscopes to adorn your bookshelf, or exquisitely restored furniture ranging from mid-century to Danish to antique. From retro kitchen wares to classic antiques to bargain hunting, the Perth antique trail has something for everyone.
The stores featured in this article are listed in clockwise order, starting east of Perth at Rustic Gallery then along the south of the Swan River to Fremantle then finally along the northern suburbs. I managed to squeeze almost all of these into one day but I’d recommend taking your time and venturing out over a couple of weekends.

I’m including this store with the hopes that the business will be bought and continue to run under new ownership… At the time of writing the owner has sadly passed and the future of the store is uncertain but, if you get the chance I highly recommend visiting this amazing old house that’s been turned into an antique lover’s rabbit warren with room after room filled with the most curious and interesting collectables.

This is a beautiful little vine covered antique store nestled in Subiaco suburbia. If you manage to get past the front door of this curious shop please drop us a line and let us know what treasures you’ve found. This one surprised me. Louis Antiques is a huge, sprawling antique store filled with beautifully restored furniture from the 19 and 20th centuries. On entering, the store is dimly lit and filled with dark wood antique furniture but as you wander through you’ll find pops of green velvet, gorgeous 1950s leather dining chairs and heavy, leather-topped writing desks that you can’t help but touch.
