If you’re planning a heritage renovation, or any type of building project with recycled materials, hiring experience is a smart move. Old buildings and old components are difficult to fit and rework with professional results.
Adrian Clarke from MannaGum trained as a carpenter 27 years ago and has run his own building company for most of that time. He loves problem solving with secondhand materials and has built a talented team of contractors with old-school skills. Whether you need one table top or a full designer fit out, MannaGum aims for reliable service and smooth implementation.
MannaGum’s main specialty is beautiful hardwood bench tops and joinery from demolition timber. Add timber tops or doors to an existing layout, or have a kitchen custom made with modern functionality (e.g. push-to-open drawers).
Recent work includes bench tops, drawers and doors, islands, alfresco bars and recycled timber tables.
As well as general carpentry and building, Adrian has experience repairing and reconstructing period features, fitting salvaged items, and machining recycled timber for flooring, bench tops, mouldings and feature walls.
If you’d like help designing or planning your next project he’s an excellent source of practical knowledge and advice. He also has an extensive library of heritage building references and techniques. Just book a time to run through your ideas.
Much of MannaGum’s work is repeat business and referrals so clients appreciate Adrian’s attention to detail. He works hard to keep delivery, services coordination, and high quality results carefully on track.
