Whether you have a professional digital strategy, or no experience online, The Junk Map connects you to more customers, colleagues and referrals around Australia.

The Junk Map has been a great way to keep everyone informed of what's out there in the market for recycled goods. Hughes Renovators Paradise in Melbourne have had quite a few sales via this great site. I hope they continue to keep up the great work and I'd like to throw my support right behind them. 10/10!

When we joined The Junk Map the amount of people that came into our shop was tenfold… at least tenfold. We find a lot of people from the other side of the city and other states are now looking at us.

We were in the back blocks and we’re known now so we’re really rapt.

10 years ago junk sales were straightforward. You collected stuff. You booked a few ads like Yellow Pages. You sold stuff.

Then came the internet and customer attention split in all directions.

Now your business needs a shop, a website, social media, videos, reviews… it's a list from hell if you're trying to beat the competition.

So what happens if you JOIN the competition?

As a customer, dealing with The Junk Map team is a pleasure and we feel like we are part of the family rather than just a client.

Is Junk Map the right fit for your business?

The Junk Map is a reference hub for renovators, builders, home owners, decorators, furniture makers and design professionals looking for secondhand homewares and reusable materials.

We list established businesses with a physical store/studio that people can visit, or a professional online store. (If your business is still getting started, download our Reaching Customers Checklist for some helpful tips.)

We cover:
- Recycled building materials and architectural features.
- Secondhand, vintage or upcycled homewares.
- Craftspeople or designers who work with recycled materials.
- Home-related recycling services (eg. pre-demolition strip outs).

We don't cover:
- Businesses that are mostly secondhand or vintage clothing.
- General op shops such as Salvos or Vinnies.

What does it cost?

A Junk Map profile is a snapshot of your business (with heaps of pictures) that sends people to your store or web pages to find out more.

To cover exactly what you do, our submission form collects your favourite photos and some brief notes about the business background, specialties and ideal customers.

Then we edit photos, write a profile, send everything through for your approval, and get it seen!
